Jimmy Panetta, Democratic candidate for Congress in District 20, has announced the following endorsements in support of his campaign:

Equality California, an statewide LGBT organization. Rick Zbur, the group’s executive director, said Panetta has demonstrated a deep understanding of LGBT civil rights and social justice issues, and is a strong supporter of the proposed federal Equality Act.
Carmel-by-the-Sea Mayor Jason Burnett, who said Panetta “shares a set of values that includes oceans protection, environmental preservation, and a strong economy for this region. I am pleased to endorse him in his run for Congress.”
California Senate Majority Leader Bill Monning, D-Carmel. Monning said Panetta has shown his commitment to public service and to this community in both his professional life, and through his service on local boards and committees.
